Our new alloy of polyurethane polymers provides the EFX more strength than ever, 65 % stronger than our Model UR. Increased resistance to tearing and greater stiffness translates to the toughest post you can buy, suitable for the most challenging installations on your highways. The new EFX supports vertical panels to provide even greater target value, nighttime visibility, and improved safety.
Clover Leaf Design for Built-in Rebound
The clover-leaf design of the FG 300 tubular marker provides far better rebound than simple round tubes. Curving the sides of the tube changes the moment of inertia and builds up tremendous potential energy, resulting in a quick and sharp rebound when impacted. Combine the geometry of the FG 300 with poly-urethane, the toughest flexible engineering polymer, and the result is a channelizer post that sets new standards of performance.
Poly-Urethane – the Material of Choice
The FG 300 Model UR and EFX are both made from poly-urethane, the toughest flexible polymer on the market today. Poly-urethane provides high tensile and elongation properties, with superior resistance to tearing and puncture. The polymer maintains its flexibility to -50° F, and its toughness during exposure to fuels, oils and grease. Polyurethane is simply the material of choice for “can’t fail” applications.

Only Davidson offers fluorescent-colored channelizer posts and bases. Research has shown that fluorescent colors grab the eye's attention quickly. In low light conditions or on dark, gray winter days when visibility is limited, our fluorescent posts stand out boldly and help to more effectively guide motorists. For more complete delineation, both the post and base of the FG 300 are available in nine different matching colors, including Fluorescent Orange and Fluorescent Yellow Green.
